About the Site

The Central Coast Grown website is your resource to find, purchase and prepare local food. Wherever you choose to buy your agricultural products, we have you covered. Look for that Central Coast Grown logo to identify local agricultural products at our participating restaurants and grocery stores.  You can also use our site to locate your nearest Farmers market , CSA program , or to browse our local farms and ranches Don’t forget to see what’s in season and check out some of our recipes that you can make at home! 

Featured Farm: Orchard to You
 
 Ruth Scovell from Orchard to You has been selling Walnuts, flowers and herbs at Farmer's Markets for 30 years, and for 50 years from her home and orchard in Atascadero.  She has walnuts available year-round.  If you plan to make our recipe of the month, the Persimmon Cheesecake with Walnut Crust

You can find Ruth on Thursday nights at the
 SLO Farmer's Market, near the corner of Higuera and Morro.
Or you can visit her at her orchard.
